Legal Vault is a demonstration and product-development platform for the legal profession. Its public articles, explainers and visual material are intended to explore legal technology, practice management and relevant developments in a clear and practical way. This policy explains how that content is produced and managed.

1. Human editorial responsibility

Legal Vault may use artificial-intelligence tools to assist with research, drafting, summarisation, content structuring and visual production. AI output is not published autonomously. Published material is selected, reviewed and approved under human editorial responsibility by Avant Garde Web.

2. Source checking and citations

Where an article discusses legislation, regulation, court practice directions, professional guidance or other current developments, Legal Vault aims to check material against primary or reputable sources and to cite those sources where appropriate. Readers should use the cited source itself for the authoritative text.

3. AI-assisted research and drafting

AI tools may help identify themes, compare information, prepare drafts or improve presentation. They are treated as editorial tools rather than authoritative sources. Material that is important to the substance of an article should be checked before publication, particularly dates, legal instruments, quotations, regulatory requirements and factual claims.

4. Generated and illustrative imagery

Some article images and visual concepts may be produced or enhanced using generative AI. Such imagery is illustrative and should not be interpreted as a photograph of an actual solicitor, client, office, court event or legal matter unless expressly identified as such.

5. Demonstration platform

Legal Vault is designed to demonstrate approaches to structured legal intake, secure information handling, payments, assignment, workflow, oversight and legal-technology modernisation. Public content may discuss possible workflows or future capabilities. Demonstration material should not be taken as a statement that every feature is appropriate for every solicitor practice or matter type.

6. No legal advice

Editorial content is provided for general information, discussion and product demonstration. It is not legal advice, professional advice or a substitute for reviewing the relevant law, regulation, professional guidance or court direction and obtaining advice where required.

7. Corrections and updates

Law, regulation, professional guidance and technology can change. Legal Vault may update articles where a material development occurs or where an error is identified. The publication date and, where appropriate, the article content or source references should be used to judge whether an article remains current.

8. Editorial independence and product context

Legal Vault articles are part of the Legal Vault product and demonstration environment and may explain how particular developments relate to the platform. Product references are therefore not independent product reviews. The aim is to distinguish clearly between sourced external developments and Legal Vault’s own interpretation, design approach or product positioning.

9. Responsible use of AI

The editorial approach reflects the Legal Vault principle: Law practised by people, supported by technology. AI may support the process, but judgement, verification and publication responsibility remain human.
